Frequently asked questions

General

It's a feature unique to Focus Flow. When you end a work session, a picker automatically appears so you can choose your next activity. Select a task to start tracking right away, or take a break. This eliminates "forgot to track" gaps and gives you a complete picture of your day.

Features

Long-press your Home Screen to enter edit mode, then tap the "+" button in the top left to search for Focus Flow. Choose from several widget types — today's progress, goal tracking, weekly summary, and more. Lock Screen widgets are also available.

Yes! It automatically follows your iOS system setting, and you can also manually choose light or dark mode in the app's settings.

Yes! Focus Flow works on Apple Watch. You can start/stop timers from your wrist, view current sessions via complications, and quickly access recent activities. Requires Apple Watch running watchOS 12 or later.

Yes, everything is fully customizable. You can adjust work time (default 25 min), short break (5 min), long break (15 min), and cycle count (4 cycles) to your preferred durations. Find the focus pattern that works best for you.

Pricing

Every feature is available on the free plan — with up to 3 sessions per day. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited sessions.

Go to iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → select Focus Flow → tap "Cancel Subscription." After canceling, you can continue using Premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Technical

Your data is stored locally on your device. When iCloud sync is enabled, data is synchronized across your devices via Apple CloudKit. Even with iCloud, your data is protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption. Additionally, anonymous usage analytics data is sent to Firebase to help us improve the app.

Simply keep iCloud sync turned on — signing in with the same Apple ID on your new device automatically restores your data. You can also export data as a .focusflow file from the settings screen and import it on the new device.

Select "Export Data" from the settings screen to save your data as a .focusflow file. On a new device, use "Import Data" to restore it. If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is automatically backed up.
