Service description
Tokenwise is a native macOS menu-bar dashboard that displays usage and estimated cost for the Claude Code and OpenAI Codex CLI. The app is intended for personal use.
Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using Tokenwise, you accept these terms. Your use of the app is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
License & usage conditions
Subject to these terms, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Tokenwise for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the app
Purchase
Tokenwise is sold paid up-front at ¥500 through Apple. It is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases and no subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
Estimates disclaimer
The cost figures shown by Tokenwise are estimates based on a built-in, user-editable price list — they are not a bill. They may differ from your provider’s actual charges.
Intellectual property
"Claude Code," "Codex," "Anthropic," "OpenAI," and other names are trademarks of their respective owners. Tokenwise refers to these names nominatively, solely to describe that it reads only your own local logs produced by those tools. Tokenwise is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, Anthropic or OpenAI.
Disclaimer
Tokenwise is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Tokenwise is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
